The Maison
Fox fur, worked in Italy.
Maison Hu produces and distributes fur jackets and gilets, principally fox. The tannery and production facilities are in Italy, and every piece carries the Made in Italy label.
Furs, Yours

Construction
Four ways to cut the fur
The whole collection is built from a small number of constructions, and each one completely changes the way light travels across the piece.
Herringbone falls in regular horizontal bands and slightly broadens the figure. Cross-cut brings the bands together at the centre and draws a V that lengthens the torso. Horizontal, used on the cropped pieces, keeps the volume compact. And the V construction — the one behind the Honey — is the most recognisable of all: the fur opens like an arrow across the front.

Details
Hooks, zips, drawcords
The fastening is not a secondary detail: it changes the front of the piece and the way it is worn. Hooks keep the surface clean and open with a single gesture; the zip closes in one movement; the drawstring at the waist, on the cropped models, lets you pull in or let go.
On the shawl collar of several models there is an additional hook against the wind. The nappa leather belt, where present, is removable: the piece changes character depending on whether it is marked at the waist or left to fall.

Colour
From cream to red
The Maison Hu range is wide: 19 published colours, from cream and Greenland white through the warmer neutrals — gold, champagne, beige — to turquoise, olive green, yellow and red.
The multicolour pieces, like Mia Special and Honey Special, bring several tones into a single garment, alternating them band after band.
